adding some climax to the previous event, during the same war ('71)the 104 made an Indian Gnat force land on a Pakistani airfield in near Sialkot, Pakistan.

Pakistan made some good use of it during 71 war with India. it evaded a surrender by sheer force of its engine and throttled away right when it was on short finals. while the two Indian aircraft(don't their specs) forcing it to land slacked, thinking the 104 Starfighter can't escape from such low power setting as on short finals...Pak Airforce,Kudos

P.S. read the history, why they wanted to do some changes with the original F 104, which caused these crashes, so you will understand :)
