A LITTLE AFTER CHRISTMAS 1942, THE VOUGHT CORSAIR F4U-1 ENTERED SERVICE WITH TH USN AND MARINES. TOP SPEED OVER 440 MPH IT WAS POWERED BY A P&W R-2000 DBL WASP ENGINE. THIS AIRCRAFT ONLY TOOK A YEAR TO DEVELOP. I LOVE THE PAINT JOB, BEAUTIFUL AIRCRAFT.
