Seen one shot down in Angola 1988 .. the SADF took it out with there version of the S.A.M .

Not only Mil 24 Hind, but Hind F2. Notice the paired 23 millimeter cannon on the starboard fuselage, replacing the usual swiveling turret. which allowed a swiveling targeting head to be mounted in place of the usual turret housing.
