I definitely favor B-17s over what ever the other bomber is ( B1 or B-52). The movie in 1949 Twelve O’Clock High, then the TV series Twelve O’Clock High from 1964 to 1967, then in 1990 the movie Memphis Belle, 1991 TV episode of Amazing Stories: Book One entitled The Mission, and in 2002 Steven Spielbergs tv miniseries Taken episode 1: Beyond the Sky all featured B-17s.
