In the book Charlotte's Web, Wilbur the pig, gets a butterbath; (Notice how clean the Warthog in the pic is.) before the best pig contest at the county fair. And then its off to the slaughterhouse for the pigs. I don't want to ruin the ending.

Yes I see, ‘Charlotte's Web’ is a metaphor for the A-10 warthog because this pig (A-10) is about to do some slaughtering of it’s own! oooooh IC

The pig does the slaughtering in this story. No clue about the black thing, but my first guess would be radar.
