There are some differences such as wings made with higher contribution off composite materials. It's F-16 based plane though and Lockheed Martin is very involved in its design so i would say so :-)

Sorry, my mistake. Your perfectly correct. Would I be right in saying that this is an F-16 built under licence in Japan ?
